Ever since I have started college, I have been recycling. The fact that there are recycling bins in the dorms and around campus has greatly encouraged me to recycle. What’s even better is that this past summer, my neighborhood has been given recycling bins to use as well. My family and I have been recycling like crazy! Something knew that I’ve been doing recently, is that at the start of every semester, instead of buying all new supplies, I scrounge around my room for any notebooks and other materials that haven’t been used, so that I can use them. Even if a quarter of the notebook has been used, I’ll just rips those pages out, and use the notebook. Also, I have made an effort to reuse things. This past Christmas, I gave my mom a gift that I was given a few Christmases ago by one of my friends. She didn’t notice until I told her, though. Even when my sisters and I go through hair products, I wash the bottles/containers and either throw them in our recycling bin, or keep them for future use. Sometimes, when I need to jot down a little note, I always am sure to use a scrap piece of paper, instead of wasting a small note on a new, fresh sheet of paper that could be used for more useful things. One thing I love about my family is that we constantly rid of junk around the house. We’ll go through our closets and junk stored in the basement in order donate and rid of things we no longer have a use for. Today, I took my entire load of hair, makeup, and fashion magazines, and I’ve been going through them, ripping out pages that I want to keep, so that I can recycle the rest of the magazines. My mom said it was pointless to keep magazines that you’re most likely going to only flip through once, so I might as well keep the pages that I like to look at. I wish I was into recycling a long time ago, because it’s not only addictive, but it also helps the environment!

Happy one day……Pissed off the next

•December 26, 2007 • Leave a Comment

So Christmas was yesterday. That’s the day when everyone’s happy, and their hearts are filled with lots of joy. I was also happy that day. My parents got me just about everything that I wanted. A digital camera, pajama set, slippers, sweat suit, a handbag, and a gift card. How happier could I be? But then, today, I’m pissed off right now. I’m just typing this to blow off some steam, and to at least pretend that someone is listening and gives a crap.

Here’s the situation:

My little sister and I try to help out my father with the laundry. I put the wet clothes in the dryer, but then even though my little sister was cleaning the lint-catcher thing out, I was totally oblivious and started the dryer. She quickly lets me know and I try to stop the dryer, but I accidentally take off the button that starts the dryer. So I found a way to stop the dryer. My dad comes in and says, “Okay, okay. Let me take over.” He opens the dryer fixes the arrangement of the clothes and sheets in there, and tells me that I have to straighten the clothes a little before I put them in there, and not to just throw them in there any kind of way. So then he’s getting ready to start the dryer, but I quickly try to put the button back on. The dryer kept making that signal noise while I was trying to put the button on, and I realized that I had to turn the signal off. My dad was buggin’ out the whole time, and when I got everything fixed, he starts yelling at my little sister to pick something up off the floor, and says that he told her nicely the first time, but she didn’t listen. Since when was it wrong for humans to make mistakes? Let me answer that: never! So tell me why he was all mad and started flippin’ out for no apparent reason? Who knows. But although diseases are contagious, anger is just the same. I got pissed off. I couldn’t say anything then, but there was a hell of a lot that I wanted to scream at him and to make him realize something and how crazy he was acting, and here’s what:

What the hell is wrong with you? Did the dryer blow up? Are we dead? Didn’t I just fix it? And since when was it okay for fathers to take it out on their children, and if that’s how it’s gonna be, then you sure as hell ain’t the father I once knew, and you might as well be as good as an enemy of mine. Why are you always pissed off and sad, wishing that God gave us something better than having a family of five live in a little townhouse. At least we ain’t out there on the streets, and there’s people out there wishing that had what we had, cuz then they won’t have to worry about food or shelter. We all wish we had something better, but we can’t always get what we want, can we? That’s why we have to make the most of it. And God wants us to do that. Sure, we can pray and all that jazz, but doing that alone isn’t gonna fix anything. We’re strong enough to help ourselves, and God doesn’t want us to keep depending on Him, because he knows that we’re better than that. And I believe that too. I just wish you’d realize that sooner, and maybe we could’ve moved a lot sooner than January. So we had a few minor set-backs. What what Jesus do? I’ll tell you what he’d do. He’d find it in His power to make a solution to his problem, and every step of the way, he’ll make mistakes, but he’ll learn from them to prevail.

I just wish my dad would get a grip. Everyone makes mistakes. This world ain’t perfect, but that’s what makes it something worthwhile.

It’s amazing how you could be happy one day…but pissed off the next.

There’s these awesome sites of korean/Japanese dolls and some of the best CG artwork I’ve ever seen. I’ve been visiting them almost everday now, even though they don’t update that much. I just can’t get enough of the artwork ! And the prices of the dolls are expensive.

OMG! I have so much to do this weekend.First, I have to do this worksheet for Health, then I have this project in English, then I have to read this book that this girl let me borrow so that I can give it back to her on Tuesday, and I gotta clean out my file on the computer by 2:30 pm today, so that my dad can install more memory that he bought. And that’s gonna be a day’s work.

I have so many downloads for the sims 2, that it doesn’t even make sense. What’s wrong with me? At least I have 3 days to do everything. We’re off on Monday (Memorial Day). My friends are so lucky they get out of school on Thursday. My school doesn’t release until June 8th. Sucks for me. Anyway, that’s basically what I’ll be doing for this weekend. Full of Stress. Does anyone ever read my blog? Doubt it.

My Jam-Packed Weekend

Again, haven’t spoken in a while. I’m not going to say I’m bored, even though I just did. I’ve got work to keep me busy. Some questions (11) that goes with this book, (2) projects, and a graphic organizer for my writing essay. I was looking at videos on Youtube of my this korean pop (K-Pop) group called Super Junior. They have this little sitcom about them and these two girls who are trying to learn Korean from them, and in return teaching them English. Kim Ki Bum is my favorite out of all of them. He has this really cute smile. He can cook too, sort of. There was an episode where they had this grill thing going on, and when Kibum tried the meat, he made this scary face and said it wasn’t cooked all the way. It was funny, because he sat there chewing it for a while. Usually people would spit it out immediately. He got guts.I read up on  round 5 of HNTM. The contestants have to dress up using the items that the members created, and present it in the way of a magazine. That sounds very interesting. Can’t wait to see the entries!I plan to go in my game (Sims 2) and clean out/delete all the CC (Custom Content) that I don’t use. However, I still have that schoolwork to do. I also want to practice photo-editing and all that other stuff. Again, I may not have the time. Oh well! Here’s a Pic of Kim Ki Bum:Kim Ki Bum

Bored to Death

So how is everybody? Okay………..um…………Hi. You guys already know how I feel right now. I said it on almost every post so far: Bored. I don’t even know why I’m here right now. Who knows? Maybe I just want something to do.

Anyway, I saw Spider Man 3 yesterday. IT WAS SO FREAKIN’ AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don’t want to spoil anything for those of you who haven’t seen it yet. Before the movie, there was a preview of Shrek the Third: So gotta see that one when it come to theaters. Since my family and I came 5 minutes before the movie started, we had the worst seats: the front rows. I’ll never forget that day. Lol. At least the volume wasn’t as loud as I expected it to be. I was pretty shocked about the volume.

So after we came back, we went to Ruby’s Tuesday to eat dinner. My stomache was hurting. Thank God they get you drinks first, because I got a soda to help settle my stomache. I ate chicken pot pie which was really good! It was my first time eating it. I was going to take the rest home, but I got so stuffed looking at it.

I been looking at the entries for that Sims 2 Contest: Hangout’s Next Top Model (HNTM). I provided a link in one of my previous posts. The entries were amazing! It’s gonna be hard when it comes to voting.

Greetings, Everyone!!!!!!!

Again I’m bored and don’t have much to do. I was planning to go to my frIend’s house today, but I’m sick, and plus my family and I are going to the movies to watch Spider Man 3, @ 3:30 P.M. Anyway, I’m just sitting here without a car ein the world, typing to death. I don’t come here often, and I should start upgrading here regularly, as if it were a journal of some sort. I can’t promise that, but I’ll try my absolute best. Watch it not happen. LoL

For those of you who love anime/manga wallpapers, I have a few sites that you may be interested in:

So there you go, and you’re welcome. This is kinda fun just talking to myself, since no one ever really comes here. I could just let everything out. Did any of you ever hear of that show called Blood Ties? My friend told me about it, and I went on the web to look at, and it sounds really good. I recognized a guy who was on another movie I saw. He plays the 450-year old vampire. It comes on Lifetime, Sundays @ 10 p.m., so anyone who likes vampire stuff like me, can watch it. I recorded an episode on my DirecTv thing, but I haven’t even seen the first episode, so I gotta search the web for some episodes. I wonder if they have some on YouTube? I’ll check later. So, you guys can check out this stuff whenever. See ya!

Long Time, No See!!!

Sorry for not talking for what seems like forever. I was busy with school work and………relaxation. I’m on Spring Break, which started yesterday, 4/6/07, and ends 4/15/07. Today I was planning to go to my friend’s house, but I forgot to call her yesterday, and it’s to0 early to call her right now, even though she’s an early bird like me. There’s nothing more rude than calling someone early, or showing up at their house unexpectedly. My mom and I were planning on taking a day to go up to Manhattan and see the shopping district there, seeing as though I want to be a fashion designer. Gotta know the latest styles and competition, right? However, my mom’s friend wanted to come along, and we gotta find out when she’s available. So until then, I’m bored to death.

Lately I’ve been whining for tutorials on how to photo-edit my sims pics for contests, and I finally got some good ones from a site:

http://hntm3.sims2writershangout.com/

It’s under the questions section. I wanted to know how to cut out the sims from a picture, and whah-la! I found it. I didn’t give it a try yet. Hopefully I’ll do that later on today. Also, I was thinking about joining the contest, but I don’t think I have what it takes. I saw the competition, and I was intimidated. The models were so awesome! I’d probably lose after round one. LOL!

Anyway, let me stop babbling and get off here. I’ve got things to do, people to see, calls to make, and something to eat. Gotta finish reading my book Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. Great book for anyone to read, especially if you like vampires. Bye-Bye!

Boring Six Day Vacation!!!

I’m obviously new here. Since there was freezing rain over here in Delaware, our school had off Wednesday, and we have off Thurs. and Fri. because of staff development, and off Mon. I should call a friend and come over.

I just came from Flickr. If you want to see the two pictures I have up, my link is:

Again I’m new there as well. I’ll try to do more here and there. In the meantime, enjoy what’s here at the moment!
